When I set out to build this restaurant I said we want to remain simple and true to our food and our customers. Value, freshness, and community focus are only part of the story.
Simple — You won’t find layer after layer of different flavors here. What you will find are simple recipes executed well, time after time. A lot of our food comes from our Appalachian roots and we strive to take it seriously and maintain our quality through common sense practices.
Fresh — A lot of people say it, but we live by it. Our vegetables are always prepared fresh from great, sustainable products. Yes we buy local but we also have great supply partners from all aspects of the food world.
Value — One thing I have said from the beginning is we want a restaurant that is a good value for our customers. Give them that and they will reward you by dining with you time and time again. My biggest asset is my customer. Always!
